Lighthouse

I first found Point Reyes Lighthouse on Instagram last year and thought it was so pretty. When we moved to California it was on the top of my list of places to go visit. It’s taken us awhile, but we finally made it to the coast this weekend. I can’t even tell how good it was to get some sunshine and to be near the ocean enjoying time with my family. Everett is walking now, but still has to be carried most of the time. Nothing reminds you that you are out of shape more than carrying your one year old up 300 steps ha ha! I am still surprised with how much he loves going to new places with us. I didn’t realize a one year old could be so excited to see the ocean and the beach, but he loved it. Don’t get me wrong, we definitely had a couple of temper tantrums along the way (as you probably can tell by some grumpy faces in our photos), but overall the weekend was amazing. I am already wanting to go back.

California weather is a dream (keep in mind I am coming from northern Utah), but still is a little chilly for me this time of year. When Marks and Spencer’s wanted to work with me on this post I was all about it because I am always looking for lightweight, warm jackets for me and Everett. I love these because they are perfect for keeping us warm, but I REALLY love how cute they are. If you know me you know if a cute version of something exists I will find it and I will get it. I saw this blush pink jacket and knew I needed it in my wardrobe and how cute is Ev in this rust colored coat?!! The quality is excellent and totally compares to some jackets I have that were twice the price. And with the Stormwear technology it keeps you warm and dry by repelling the water. You can shop my jacket here (comes in 6 colors) and Ev’s jacket here. We were so grateful to be kept warm and snuggly on our trip out to the coast.
Thanks for reading! xo
