Everett Turns One

I have a one year old! I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by and how blessed I feel to have Everett in our family. I am so excited to share his party with all of you. I found Meri Meri on Instagram and instantly knew that it would be my go-to for most of the party decor. Once I saw this Adventure Awaits sign I was so in love that I decided it would be the theme of his party. I picked up most of the matching decor items like the cupcake toppers, animal ears, star napkins and cups online. We set up his teepee and filled the back wall with balloons. I loved how it turned out and so did Everett. We set up the party the night before and when I brought Everett down in the morning he was giggling so hard and couldn’t stop pointing at the balloons. If I knew how much of a hit they would be, I wouldn’t have bought any other party decor and we would have had balloons be the theme of the party ha ha.

I was so excited to work with Basic Invite on customizing Everett’s invitations. I actually chose this baby shower invitation because I thought it matched his party so well. I was able to change all of the text and the colors to be exactly what I was looking for. It was a really easy process and it shipped so fast! I would definitely recommend them if you are in need of any invitations.

The final step (and best step according to me) was deciding on the food. I kept it simple with a cheese plate, cupcakes, Sanpellegrino (I add these to every party I throw because they look so cute) and snacks for the kids. I ordered Everett’s smash cake from a local bakery and added the faux eucalyptus myself. I loved how cute the party came together, but I REALLY loved celebrating my amazing baby boy!

Thanks for reading! xo
