I’m not going to lie, I love to splurge on a designer bag or designer shoes, but most of the time I want my clothing to be budget friendly. Today I am sharing all of my favorite budget friendly stores and all of my favorite fall pieces that won’t break the bank.
First up is Brandy Melville. If we are being honest here, nothing makes me feel older than walking into a Brandy Melville store. If you are under 22 you are probably a regular shopper at Brandy Melville, but if you are in your late 20’s/early 30’s you might not even know this brand exists. It is seriously affordable (comparing it to stores with similar vibes like Madewell, Reformation, ect.) and is definitely on trend. I am wearing the Bryana top in this post and have been pretty impressed with the quality. I have washed it several times and so far it still looks brand new. Some other Brandy favorites I plan on picking up are:
The Bronx sweater. It is the perfect shade of blush and is $35. That is a win win for me!
Marlene Turtleneck Sweater. The turtleneck is the perfect length and I can’t get over the billowy (is that a word?!) sleeves. $32
Band Tees. Okay, so this is a little bit out of my comfort zone and I am probably not the kind of girl that can’t pull this off (I don’t think anyone is describing my style or me as BA), but I think a simple band tee with high waisted jeans and a cute belt is just perfect. Reformation does this look so well and I feel like it can be copied for much less. $28
You might be thinking that this store is too good to be true and in some ways it is. The price is right and the quality is great, but most of their pieces are one size. It is super disappointing because it limits the people who can shop there. I would say their “one size” will fit if you are an xs, s, or m depending on how lose or tight you like your clothes to fit. I usually wear a size small in other brands for reference.
Next up is an old favorite, H&M. I have shopped here on and off for years. The older I get the more I feel like the in store experience at H&M is just not for me. Too many racks and too much of a mess, so I prefer to shop H&M online. The quality is also hit or miss, so be prepared to send back half of the things you order. Regardless, H&M is always on trend and I love their prices.
I cant resist the teddy bear coat trend that is happening. I am someone who is always wrapped up in a blanket during the fall and winter months. With the teddy bear coat I feel like I am wearing a blanket outside, and anytime that is socially acceptable I am going to do it. I bought mine from Free People (will be doing a blog post where I style it soon) and even though I love it I wish I would have seen this one ($70) from H&M first. It is just as cute and almost half the cost.
Zara is probably my all time favorite store when it comes to pieces that are trendy and not something I want to invest a lot of money in. I can always count on Zara to be one of those stores I go into to buy one thing and leave with 10 things. I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing. My obsession is partly due to the fact that their baby clothes are the cutest I have ever seen and I am constantly shopping there for my son. You can expect to see me in this top ($15) ,these shoes ($39) and this blazer ($69) soon.
Topshop is a go-to for inexpensive denim. The are always on trend and offer a wide range of sizes. These vintage straight leg jeans are a must.
Before anyone gives me hate on this next one, I want to give a disclaimer that I realize a bag that costs $168 is not exactly budget friendly. The reason I’m including the Madewell Transport Tote in this post is because I feel like comparing it to other real leather totes it is a bargain. This bag is definitely a wardrobe staple and matches almost any outfit in my wardrobe (with the exception of really fancy outfits). This bag has held up like a dream! I feel like if I could pick one bag that appeals to everyone, can fit anything you need to take with you and will last you for years, this would be it.
There you have it! My budget must-haves for fall. I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope you do lots of shopping!
Thanks for reading! Xo
